A new hobby is a great way to stimulate the mind. I spoke with a speech writer yesterday who spoke of having to become a 'quick study' in a variety of subject areas (required for more technical speeches). I think approaching life with a healthy degree of curiosity can be a good way to keep things interesting. And hell, it'll give you something to blog about!
Why not blog about gems? Or English lit? Or an entirely new hobby?
